The modern way of life is characterized by dynamic changes, haste, adaptation to the environment which causes high levels of stress. Namely, stress occurs more and more often in an increasing number of people, and one of the forms of stress in the workplace is a phenomenon known as mobbing. People who are jealous, envious and unfair to other colleagues over time develop a tendency to harass and abuse these people. These people are prone to confrontation and fabricating various pranks, but not for the purpose of fun and jokes but for the purpose of angering the other and causing harm in a psychological sense. For this reason, mobbing often ends in severe mental illness and sometimes, unfortunately, death. It is very important to spot mobbing in time to avoid severe consequences. It should be able to identify potentially dangerous environmental factors that have the potential for the development of mobbing and warn the individual, but also his immediate environment (family). This paper aims to point out the importance of mobbing as a contemporary phenomenon and to educate to identify its causes, consequences and factors.
