Abstract
Dezinfekcija (lat. desinfectio - raskužba) je postupak kojim se uništavaju, inhibiraju ili uklanjaju nepoželjni patogeni mikroorganizmi. Posljednja je faza u postupku pripreme vode sa svrhom eliminacije tj. smanjivanja broja mikroorganizama u njoj. Dezinfekcija igra veliku ulogu u očuvanju zdravstvene ispravnosti vode za ljudsku potrošnju. Podvrgavanjem vode za ljudsku potrošnju dezinfekciji iz vode se uklanjaju patogeni mikroorganizmi koji mogu biti uzrok raznih zaraznih bolesti. U svrhu dezinfekcije vode koriste se fizikalni i kemijski postupci. Predmetni rad daje pregled kemijskih i fizikalnih postupaka koji se koriste u dezinfekciji vode za ljudsku potrošnju i otpadnih voda.
Abstract (english)
Disinfection (lat. desinfectio) is a procedure that destroys, inhibits or removes unwanted pathogenic microorganisms. The last stage is in the process of water preparation with the purpose of elimination, ie reducing the number of microorganisms in it. Disinfection plays a major role in maintaining the health of water for human consumption. By subjecting water for human consumption to disinfection, pathogenic microorganisms that can be the cause of various infectious diseases are removed from the water. Physical and chemical procedures are used for water disinfection. The present paper provides an overview of chemical and physical procedures used in the disinfection of water for human consumption and wastewater.
