Abstract
Današnji život, a tako i cjelokupno poslovanje je nezamislivo bez osiguranja. Značaj osiguranja se odlično oslikava u njegovom sve većem udjelu u BDP-u većine zemalja Svijeta. Zato zaslužuje posebnu pažnju. Ovaj završni rad se odnosi na premiju osiguranja. Premija je jedan od osnovnih elemenata osiguranja. Stoga su ključne riječi ovog rada premija osiguranja i samo osiguranje. Rad se sastoji od šest poglavlja i nekoliko podpoglavlja. Redom su to: uvod, temeljne postavke funkcioniranja osiguranja, premija osiguranja prema Zakonu o obveznim odnosima, današnje tržište osiguranja u Republici Hrvatskoj sa stajališta premije osiguranja, premija osiguranja u računu dobiti i gubitka društva za osiguranje i zaključak. Kroz ovaj završni rad nastoji se definirati i objasniti premija osiguranja s više aspekata.
